BGFI September Session – An Interaction with Mr. R. Dharmarajan Iyer at The Graduates and Readers Felicitation!

Blind Graduates Forum of India is honored to be hosting the graduates and readers / Scribes’ Day this September. This annual event aims at encouraging more and more visually challenged pursue their higher education and expressing our gratitude to readers who have been selflessly opening up the printed world and to scribes / writers who contribute to shape the future of the students.

Wouldn’t this be a great opportunity to meet with the man working as Director in RDMEO, NITI Aayog, Mumbai?

We take pleasure in inviting you to an inspirational talk by Mr. R. Dharmarajan Iyer as we celebrate Readers Day to recognize the contribution Of readers for visually impaired, and felicitate fresh graduates.

Date: Saturday, September 24, 2016.
Time: 3 P.M. to 6 P.M.
Venue: Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan basement hall, Jagannathrao Bosale Marg, Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021 – opposite Mantralay.

The venue can be conveniently reached by bus root number 138 from CST Station as well as 138/100 from Churchgate station. Share taxi Services are also available from both these railway stations.

About our Speaker:
It is an honour to have as Guest speaker, Mr. R. Dharmarajan Iyer who is working as Director in RDMEO, NITI Aayog, Mumbai and has recently been promoted to the level of Joint Secretary which is perhaps one of the most prestigious position to be achieved by a visually challenged.  Mr. Iyer has also been part of a team of 6 Blind persons from Mumbai Presented with National Level award for blind photography for project “Beyond The Eye with Camera” conferred by the confederation of NGOs. He has been greatly involved in counselling, rehabilitation and training of newly blind who have been looking for help and guidance.
A Diploma in MS Office in 1st Class from VMIBM Institute of Computer Education, Mumbai in 2004, Mr. Iyer has been awarded “M N Chatrapati Award” in 1996 for Outstanding Performance Rehabilitation Training conducted by the Department Of Rehabilitation, NAB (National Association for the Blind). Besides, he has also attended many training courses on different subjects including various aspects of forward Trading, Derivatives in Stock Exchanges, Warehouse Receipt Systems, Regulation of derivative markets in the USA by the CFTC, Regulations by SEBI on Securities Markets etc. and on implementation of government social programmes.
An interaction with such an Achiever will surely enlighten us and help the graduates pursue their passion and inspire them to build a strong career.
